I would like to take you on my personal journey. Tell you what I personally experienced and how it went.
You have probably already viewed our site and therefore already know me a little.
My name is Kai-Olaf, I am 61 years old and born in Leipzig.
I learned about traveling with adventure from my parents. Once a year we went to a country in what was then the Eastern Bloc for four weeks. A lot to Poland and Hungary, one to Bulgaria and Romania.
But always with a car, tent and lots of adventure. We always met a lot of nice people on these trips, and many of them then visited us again in Leipzig.
That hasn't changed, even after switching sides in 1975, traveling was an important element of my life.
And so the desire to travel the Panamericana came about. And it should be with a Land Rover.
This year it's finally starting and I'll document my impressions here. Let's see how everything goes.
