I couldn't wait to have my own car (vehicle). Even before my 18th birthday, I started repairing my parents' Renault 4, and when my mother got a new car, it became my first. I was very proud of it. Unfortunately, a transmission failure and the resulting costs took its toll. But see for yourself...

My first car, a Renault 4 TL - it previously belonged to my parents - I repaired the car and repainted it in Porsche Albert Blue and replaced the standard seats with seats from an Alfasud, which was all possible back then

My second car - a BMW 2002 (I should never have sold it) - all original, in top condition - but a "minor" rear-end collision damaged it somewhat. I fixed it, but didn't keep it.

it didn't look good, the thing with the fur seats was like that back then and it was well received by the ladies (because of the warmth) - allergies etc. were not considered back then

Instead of the BMW, a Renault 4 came into the house again. This time an F6 box

I have completely converted it into a motorhome, with seats from the R16

and it also had more horsepower (48 instead of 34 hp), back then you were good with that, a Polo or the normal Golf had 50 hp

The special thing was that you could sit on the passenger side against the direction of travel and thus had good communication (which was not allowed back then)

... and after all the Renaults and the BMW came the Saab passion, whereby a Renault 4 can certainly end up in the collection again

and there were other vehicles - from the first motorcycle to various vehicles...

The children came and the Saab 99 was constantly broken, we were allowed to take over the Citroen BX from my parents, a faithful vehicle

another Saab, our 9000 CS, it accompanied us on many trips - always with the caravan, unfortunately I had to sell it

Then came the Ducati Monster S2R for Bettina, the two always fight a little with each other, but that is also because we don't ride enough

Then came the Clubman Cooper S, a brilliant car, today the Clubman is much too big (but that's apparently what the ladies and gentlemen want)

my Jaguar XF, I loved it, unfortunately the engine gave up at 250,000 km and said goodbye with a major engine failure on the motorway
