January 18, 2023 - Start of exploration of Baja California
February 7, 2023 - Crossing from La Paz to the Mexican mainland
February 9, 2023 – Ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan, farewell to Baja California, we have traveled the Baja intensively in the last few weeks, got to know many places, and covered many kilometers
February 11, 2023 – Puerto Vallarta/ La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, we stay here for 2 weeks and family and friends visit us
February 27, 2023 – Farewell to Puerto Vallarta, we continue south. But first, we visit a raicilla hacienda. Raicilla is another agave spirit, highly recommended.

9.03-2023 – Panajachel – Lake Atitlan, volcanoes around us, but all in the fog
10.03.2023 – Guatemala City, we'll stay here for a while
March 18, 2023 – Departure from Guatemala City towards El Salvador
19.03.2023 – Driving along the coast in El Salvador towards Honduras, we accelerate in these C4 countries, in retrospect that was a mistake
21.03.2023 – Granada in Nicaragua, we stay two nights after all, it is beautiful here and we have found a good place
23.03.2023 – La Garita/ Costa Rica – we stay a few days with Agi and Guido and meet many lovely people
25.03.2023 – Arenal Volcano/ La Fortuna, unfortunately the fog remains and we have no visibility
27.03.2023 – Cahuita, we find a great place and nice people at the Reggea Bar
30.03.2023 – to the Irazu volcano and then on to La Seniora and your great hostel/campsite at the Tapanti National Park
April 3, 2023 – La Uvita Beach, the Whale Fin (an island in/under water in the shape of a whale fin)
5.04.2023 – landed in Panama, the last stop on the North American continent, Villa Paula, a very beautiful place near the city of David
7.04.2023 – Valle de Anton, a place in the crater of the volcano, together with the Noli's we celebrate Easter
11.04.2023 – Santa Fe, visit to Marie and Martin
12.04.2023 – Panama City and the formalities begin
21.04.2023 – our sea voyage begins and we leave the North American continent
25.04.2023 – Cartagena / Colombia, after a 5-day sailing trip starting from Panama with swimming and snorkeling on the San Blas Islands
Welcome to South America!
This trip through Central America was a result of the situation in some countries. We drove quickly through the countries, but we'll take it slower next time. It was beautiful, and we're excited about the next leg of the trip.
